Forensic Investigations
I-ENG-A of South Texas was established as the forensic division of GPM Engineering, Inc., in 2014, to provide Insurance Companies with a means to handle their claim’s investigations with the astute analytical skills of a trained and experienced professional engineering firm delivered on schedule and in a cost-effective manner. With access to the I-ENG-A’s training, library of past cases, and experts in a wide variety of disciplines, the firm can offer prompt investigation and reporting services on many type of claims investigations.
I-ENG-A of South Texas is headed up by Ralph S. Pitzer, PE, with the support of three other licensed engineers. Additional technical staff includes one licensed air conditioning contractor (senior design technician), one licensed refrigeration technician (senior design technician), one licensed journeyman electrician (senior design technician) and other non-degreed designers with many years of technical training and design experience.
As a full service mechanical, electrical, plumbing, & refrigeration design firm, GPM has worked on several notable projects in the South Texas area. Some of these are Central Power and Light (now AEP) Corporate Head- quarters, numerous HEB Grocery Stores (both new and remodel), Southwest Bell (now AT&T) facility remodels, Valley International Airport, Del Mar College–West Campus Central Plant, Concrete Street Amphitheatre, CHRISTUS Spohn Hospitals (Shoreline, Memorial, Corpus Christi South, Alice, Beeville & Kleberg campuses), Doctors Hospital at Renaissance & Renaissance Day Surgery, Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church and the new Training Academy for the Refinery Terminal Fire Company.
